Easter Bonnet Parade - One of the most exciting days of the school year

Did you ever see anything so cute? OK, that's an unfair question to ask all you mothers, but I do think that my daughter is adorable. She's got so much personality in that tiny frame. She charms everyone she talks to. The Easter fascinator was an idea from a craft magazine. Samara thinks it was wonderful, and I am pleased with how it came up.

Christopher's hat is a more recycled affair. A top hat created from a Weetbix Box, black card, chicks, eggs, black paint and glitter. This is his last year in the parade. The older children at school are too cool to parade around for their doting parents in home made monstrosities! I am feeling a little sad that he will be leaving that innocent enjoyment behind, but, I confess, also relief that, after five years, that's one less kid I have to come up with a hat idea for next year!

Ahhh! The fun you can have with a hot glue gun!
