Time for another vacation photo. This was one of the best evenings I have ever spent with my family. The beach was deserted and so beautiful. We walked, collected seashells, drew and wrote our names in the sand. We couldn't go into the water, because summer in tropical north Queensland is jellyfish season, and anyone who's watched Finding Nemo knows how hazardous that is!

I started to write the list from Sarah's Meme With a Difference but got to 7 and deleted. I have clinical depression. I hide it pretty well most of the time. I am willing to bet I have family members who don't know about it. The problem with my list of embarrasing things was that it turned into a list of reasons I don't like myself. I realise that the spirit of the list was nothing like that, but I discovered that it's just not something that I can do. So I am sorry, Sarah, but I'll do the next one! I will confess, however, that I like John Denver.

There is nothing quite like an empty beach! I bet that was a great evening. I can't stand cartoon movies, but Finding Nemo is the exception. I love that movie. lol "just keep swimming, just keep swimming." hehehehe

I like John Denver too and when "Almost Heaven, West Virginia" comes on the radio I always sing along. (I'm from West Virginia). :)

Lisa: I am giggling here. "Just keep swimming" is almost our family motto here! Hubby and I sing it when we're feeling overwhelmed. West Virginia i a great song ... never been there but Hubby works for a coal mining company ... does that count? lol

Thanks Tammy! I was very proud of the pictures I took that day. I love the ocean too.

Oh Emma, I would never want anyone to feel bad about themselves! I used to suffer bad depression, I was a wreck, went down to about 7 stone (I'm 5' 8 1/2"). I'll write about it sometime.

You are a wonderful person! Much loved by God!!

Anyway, your holiday photo looks lovely. And, lol, John Denver!! Ah well I can't say anything with my Abba and Dolly Parton liking!

Blessings.

Thanks Sarah. Sorry about the list, it just wasn't working for me. I do the opposite when I am depressed, I stack weight on.

We share the ABBA liking, but you are on your own with Dolly Parton ;)
