Heart at Home

You might have noticed I have changed my blog name. The old one just wasn't quite right. For a start, I live in the subtropics, so a hearth is almost out of the question. I don't really know what I'd do with a hearth if I did have one. I think I'd be too scared I'd burn the house down to relax and enjoy it. And we haven't even turned a heater on for more than an hour or two this winter, so a hearth seems a bit pointless really!

I also felt that the old name made me sound a bit more domesticated and capable than I really am. The new name suits me far more. I love being at home, and often long to stop leaving at all. I'd rather stay at home than go out any day.
